To prepare for this high-pressure task, I received a draft of the speech a few hours before the event. I used this time to study the specific political topics and formal language used. During the live event, I provided simultaneous interpretation, which means I translated the words into Japanese as the Chief Minister spoke, using the prepared script to ensure total accuracy.
I delivered live, real-time interpretation from Telugu to Japanese. By being well-prepared, I was able to capture the correct tone and the specific meanings of the Chief Minister’s words, making sure the Governor and his team could follow every part of the ceremony perfectly.
My support made it possible for the Japanese leaders to participate fully in the event. By bridging the language gap at a government level, I helped strengthen the relationship between the two regions and ensured the diplomatic visit was a success.
