The client needed to hire engineers who specialize in technical design. They had to be sure the candidates actually knew how to use specific design software and industrial machinery, which required very precise communication.
Approach/Process
I studied the language commonly used in 2D and 3D design (CAD). I also looked at the tools the candidates had used in the past, such as wire-cutting machines and safety systems so I could explain their experience correctly during the interview.
Solution
I interpreted the conversations to make sure every technical detail, from safety systems to design software was understood by both the hiring team and the candidates.
Impact
Because the communication was clear and accurate, the client was able to hire the right person, who is now successfully working in Japan.
